Sue Kent nominated by Chris Carceller

I met Sue through a mutual friend during a fundraiser. Sue's best friend Patty was diagnosed with breast cancer and Sue was going to help her fight through it, while also raising money for research. She created a team and it's been going strong for years, raising thousands of dollars! She's held Halloween parties, pot luck dinners and bowl-a-thons to help raise more money over the years for this cause. But that was just the beginning! She and her husband Gary decided to hold Christmas fundraising concerts for Adoption RI over the years. Hundreds of people would show up for Gary's concerts with gifts for the kids in foster care. The love that Sue has shown for her family, friends and total strangers in the community is contagious......you just can't help but to love Sue and want to join her in these events. Even during Covid, she has brought joy to her facebook feed with weekly photograph challenges for us to participate in and online concerts to watch. Sue is a true force of positive energy and love for others!
