USPS Tiverton, RI nominated by Juanita Clark

Updated: Feb 27, 2021

I know that USPS has had a lot of negative publicity lately because of slow delivery, or even worse, lost mail. Nothing worse than losing packages during the Christmas season. I don't want people to blame the Tiverton USPS personally because it isn't their fault if mail does not arrive at their station for delivery. That part of it is out of their control. The members of the Tiverton post office are dedicated, helpful and most definitely concerned about prompt mail delivery. They work through all kinds of weather and through this horrible pandemic. They were not given an option to "work from home." Yes, they had masks, but I am sure that they worried about contacting the virus and more importantly transmitting the virus to family members and others. They showed up, they did their job. They should be applauded for their efforts.
