Dianna Parente nominated by Barbie Lewis

Dianna Parente works as a librarian at both the Tiverton Public Library and the Union Public Library. She is kind, patient and understanding with all of the library patrons even when those patrons might be having a day when they're not feeling too kind themselves. Dianna goes out of her way to plan fun, community-building events at the libraries, putting in hours of her free time to make that happen. She has hosted teas, Maypole dances, children's activities, meet the author gatherings and many more. Her efforts have kept Union Public Library active and thriving. She assists patrons and visitors with a friendly and cheerful demeanor and brightens the days for many people with her numerous acts of kindness.
